Impression Guide: How to take your Impression

WARNING! Do not use the impression kit if you have any of the following;

Fixed Orthodontics, Loose Teeth or Bridge Work.

step 1: open night guard impression kit Ireland

1. Open your kit and check all contents are included.

step 2: mix light and dark putties for impression

2. You’ll have two putties (light & dark) ready to mix.

step 3: choose tray that fits best for dental impression

3. Test both trays and choose the best fit for your mouth.

ATTENTION! The putty will set in 2 mins once it is mixed together;

Do Steps 5 to 7 briskly (Within 2 minutes)

step 4: roll dental putty into sausage shape

4. Roll each mixed putty into a sausage shape.

step 5: mix both putties until uniform colour

5. Mix both putties together until colour is uniform.

step 6: smooth blended putty for accurate impression

6. Ensure the putty is fully blended and smooth.

step 7: place putty evenly in chosen tray

7. Place the putty evenly into your chosen tray.

step : insert tray and bite down for impression

8. Insert the tray, press up and bite down firmly.

step 9: press tray to capture full dental impression

9. Press and hold firmly to capture a full impression.

step 10: press lips and cheeks for complete impression

10. Use your fingers to press lips and cheeks into place.

11. After 90 seconds, gently remove the tray.

step 12: inspect impression before returning

12. Check the impression, if it looks like the one above, return it to us.

If you are happy with your impression kit, pop the impression filled tray into the addressed envelope provided, and post it back to us.

Unsure about your impression, send a photo of it to [email protected], and we will confirm it for you.
We can send a replacement putty if you need to redo it. 95% of our customers get it right first time.
