Impression Guide: How to take your Impression
WARNING! Do not use the impression kit if you have any of the following;
Fixed Orthodontics, Loose Teeth or Bridge Work.
1. Open your kit and check all contents are included.
2. You’ll have two putties (light & dark) ready to mix.
3. Test both trays and choose the best fit for your mouth.
ATTENTION! The putty will set in 2 mins once it is mixed together;
Do Steps 5 to 7 briskly (Within 2 minutes)
4. Roll each mixed putty into a sausage shape.
5. Mix both putties together until colour is uniform.
6. Ensure the putty is fully blended and smooth.
7. Place the putty evenly into your chosen tray.
8. Insert the tray, press up and bite down firmly.
9. Press and hold firmly to capture a full impression.
10. Use your fingers to press lips and cheeks into place.
11. After 90 seconds, gently remove the tray.
12. Check the impression, if it looks like the one above, return it to us.
If you are happy with your impression kit, pop the impression filled tray into the addressed envelope provided, and post it back to us.
Unsure about your impression, send a photo of it to [email protected], and we will confirm it for you.
We can send a replacement putty if you need to redo it. 95% of our customers get it right first time.
